Kungfuman

Wow... for those who goes to Daniel's blog, you will know about the 'kungfuman' and his story. I was really shock to hear when the guy tell us about his story in front of the hall that night... Well, let me briefly summarize what I remembered about his 1hour++ talk...

His mom is Chinese, his dad is Italian... they were married and 'accidentally' had him. He was sent to live with his grandparents in China because his parents were broke/ dad were very sick. In China, his grandpa was a famous Kungfu man... where the generations before him were ALL kungfu man. So he went through a horrifying childhood but became very strong.

Then parents finally got money to send him back into UK (I think). He went to school... was nearly bullied but showed them who's the boss. Then sent to competitions by some association that his grandpa knew. Won ALL the competitions and become world champion for 3 years in a role. Then his friend pursuaded him to be a bodyguard, where the pay was higher. He tried... but it was boring, so he quits.

Then work for some embassy's bodyguard. He was bribed to do 'money collecting' but refused because he was a good man. Then his wife died in an accident. He was furious... and he accepted the 'money collecting' work for his boss (which is an embassy ppl!) to whack ppl up and release his fury. But it made him feel worse than good... He turned into the man he hates... a bully.

He was finally captured and jailed for 3 years in a Hell forsaken jail. Nobody went to visit him but then a kind-hearted Christian became his friend, and he started to become good again, slowly... After he was out, he teached in a church. Somehow he accidentally knocked an old woman and again, thrown into jail (the woman was killed). There he preached some prisoners while he become a better man himself. He was out, and now giving the world talks on his experiences. I heard his life story will be made into a movie too!

Bottom line... I never knew someone's life could be THAT dramatic. I was WOWed for a couple of times as he tell us his story... He could have been the best of the best Kungfuman, sadly it ended like that... But it was a fascinating life experience nonetheless... Maybe we could learn from him that no matter what life hits you, you could always stand back if you wanted to... ~Cheers~
